ceramic balls combine the advantages of smooth, lightweight and high durability. Ceramic balls are much more lightweight than conventional balls, dramatically results in reduced centrifugal force on the rings, and their superior thermal properties prevent damaging heat buildup at the interface between the balls and the rings. Ceramic balls also offer superior resistance to deformation under load keeping them rolling smoothly. They work best with long finals and on dirt such as 1/10 ~ 1/8 buggies and monster trucks, 1/8 on road chassis, 1/10 touring cars.
